Basic Practical 3
Full Demo Exchange

PC = Person Helping

PBC = Person Being Helped

PC: Is there something that you wanna talk about?

PBC: Thought for a few seconds

Maybe.

Something about how the close happened before we tried to add more.

PC: and?

PBC: Thought for a few seconds

And the close protected the example.

It stopped the exchange before it became too much to teach clearly.

PC: Are you okay with that?

PBC: Thought for a couple of seconds

Yes.

The close fit the purpose.

It protected the basic lesson instead of stretching it into a bigger explanation.

PC: so?

PBC: So the basic lesson may be:

A good close can protect the learning.

It does not have to finish everything. It only needs to stop at the point where the move is clear enough to notice.

PC: Is this a good place to close?

PBC: Thought for a couple of seconds

Yes.

This is a good place to close.

The lesson stayed small:

close → protect the example → preserve the learning.

That is enough for basic practice.
