Dimonomics, HAICU,
and the Coming Crisis of Human Meaning

Jamie Dimon keeps pointing to a world of stubborn inflation,
geopolitical instability, market fragility, and structural uncertainty.

That matters.

But I believe there is a deeper layer many people are still missing.

The economic turbulence is only half the story.

The other half is that AI does not just increase productivity.
It increases complexity in every form—speed, abstraction, opacity,
interdependence, and decision-making beyond ordinary human awareness.

That is the HAICU problem.

So when I listen to what I’ll call Dimonomics,
I hear more than a macro warning.
I hear a parallel signal.

Dimonomics names the economic turbulence.
HAICU names the intelligence turbulence.
Purpose is what may keep human beings from being crushed between them.

Why?

Because most people are not being prepared for a world
where both the economy and intelligence systems are becoming harder to understand at the same time.

Markets may still price assets.
Firms may still automate workflows.
Institutions may still speak the language of growth.

But underneath, ordinary people may be losing their grip on meaning.

Not only at work.
In life.

If abundant intelligence keeps accelerating
complexity faster than human development can keep up,
then the real crisis will not be job loss alone.

It will be disorientation, dependency, and a quiet loss of human significance.

That is where purpose enters the picture.

Purpose is no longer just a nice personal-development topic.
It is becoming an adaptive necessity.

It helps people decide:
 - where to place attention,
 - what to build,
 - what to learn,
 - what to ignore,
 - and how to remain human in a world increasingly shaped upstream from their awareness.

The issue is no longer simply whether AI can do more.

The issue is whether human beings can still live meaningfully
inside the conditions AI is helping create.

That is one of the core questions forming at LeadU.
