Mike R. Jay is a distinguished business and executive coach,
consultant, and entrepreneur with over 45 years of multifaceted global experience.
His career spans agribusiness, medicine, hospitality, and business services.
His leadership journey began as an award-winning U.S. Marine and evolved into
nationally recognized innovation in agribusiness following his graduation from
Texas A&M University.
Committed to lifelong learning, Jay returned to academia to study Business and
Organizational Behavior, deepening his expertise in leadership, communication,
and human development.
Jay has collaborated with global organizations including Coca-Cola, Exxon,
and Ford, delivering thousands of coaching engagements and surpassing
10,000 hours of professional coaching mastery.
He is the founder of a premier business and executive coach training system
centered on communication excellence and sustainable leadership development.

Personal Statement
Hello, I’m Michael “Mike” Robert Jay. Born in 1952, I was named after two U.S.
Marines who lived alongside my family during the Korean War. I later served
as a U.S. Marine during the Vietnam War and played football for the Quantico
Marines before receiving an early-out in 1973 to attend Texas A&M University
on a football scholarship.
I earned the AGGIE Heart Award in my senior season (1975) and graduated with a
Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. This foundation has profoundly shaped
my leadership philosophy and self-awareness practices.
I surpassed 10,000 coaching hours in 2002, have trained coaches from 45 countries,
and have authored numerous books, articles, and white papers. Beyond my work,
I am proud to be a father and grandfather.
LeadU has also built and repaired homes throughout the Philippines and maintains
a physical global presence in the Camotes Islands, Cebu.
